NSSEO Parent Education Series focuses on providing families of children with special needs with information, best practices and networking opportunities to help navigate the transition process.

11:30-Noon   Networking Lunch (Lunch will be provided for this inaugural Lunch & Learn)

Noon-1:30     Speakers: Juan Aponte and Stephen Joseph of Community Alternatives Unlimited (CAU)

Learn about services provided by the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Developmental Disabilities including community case management, eligibility requirements for services, and PUNS (Prioritization of Urgency of Needs for Services) enrollment. This presentation is geared toward families of all ages regardless of their current PUNS status.
