Are you looking for things to do during the pandemic? With the weather improving, check out some of these opportunities to get back out into the community and have some fun!

Brookfield Zoo: Re-opens on March 1. Indoor spaces, except for restrooms, are closed. Only the Wild Encounters attraction is open; other attractions such as the Motor Safari, Dolphins, etc. remain closed. Timed tickets must be purchased online. Hours are 10:00-5:00. Adults are $24.95, children 3-11 are $17.95. Parking is $15. Masks and social distancing are required. https://www.czs.org/OnlineTicketing

Milwaukee Zoo:  Advanced online tickets are no longer necessary but can still be purchased. Outdoor habitats are open along with a limited amount of animal buildings at 25% capacity. Hours are 9:30-3:00. Adults are $12.50; Children 3-12 are $9.50. Parking is $15. Masks are required. https://www.milwaukeezoo.org

Lincoln Park Zoo: Re-opens March 5. Admission remains free, but reservations are now required. Reservations for the opening weekend are now available. Additional reservations, beginning March 7, will be released at 4:30 p.m. every Sunday and Thursday for the following 3-4 days. Most buildings remain closed. Hours are 10:00-3:00. https://www.lpzoo.org

Cosley Zoo, Wheaton: Pre-purchased, timed tickets are required for admission and are sold only online. Tickets are for a 1-hour visit. Adults are $8.00; children up to age 17 are free. Hours are 9:00-4:00. Masks must be worn when 6’ social distancing isn’t possible. https://cosleyzoo.org

Chicago Botanic Garden: Pre-registration timed-entry tickets are required for all visitors. The cost is $25.00 per car; free for members. Masks are required indoors and outdoors when 6’ social distancing cannot be maintained. Current hours are 8:00-5:00. https://www.chicagobotanic.org

The Morton Arboretum:  Advanced timed-entry tickets are required for all guests. Open 7:00 a.m. to Sunset. Masks must be worn in some locations. Adult are $15.00; Children 2-17 are $10.00. Free parking. https://www.mortonarb.org
