Our CTC Happy Hour fundraiser, held at d’Vine Wine & Gifts in Palatine, proved to be both a fun and memorable event. Attendees enjoyed wine and craft beer tasting, silent auctions, raffles and a cork pull, all while being entertained by some very talented performers. Best of all, we packed the house and raised well over $3,000 to support Connect to Community’s mission to improve the lives of young adults with developmental disabilities.

Congratulations to our Split-the-Pot winner, Allison Bruhn, who generously donated part of her winnings back to CTC, and to our Silent Auction winners, Cristina Cassata, Bob Hanson, Michelle Riopel and Eric Wiebe.

Extreme thanks to our super-talented volunteer performers: Palatine High School violinists Nithya Arun, Rachel D’Cruz, Natalia Koval and Britta Kuusik under the direction of Music Department Chair Ms. Dung Pham; Special Gifts Theatre featuring Chandler, Emily, Hunter, Kathy and Nicole; and last but not least, drummer extraordinaire, Patrick Brock. We can’t thank all of them enough for sharing their time and talent with us!

Finally, we want to sincerely thank all of the businesses that supported this event through their donations: Anne’s Unique Boutique, Artistic Cuisine, Baker’s Square, Beelow’s Steakhouse, Cheesecake Factory, Chicago Wolves, d’Vine Wine & Gifts, Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, Edible Arrangements, Einstein Bros Bagels, Family Benefit Solutions, Foxglove Cottage, Garfield’s Beverage Warehouse, Georgio’s Chicago Pizzeria & Pub, Grove Kitchen, Gus’ Diner, Incontro A’ Tavola, L’Eiffel Bistrot & Creperie, Noonday Bread, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Peterson’s Bakery, Pinstripes, Trader Joe’s, Tre Amici and Wildberry. Thank you for your support and generosity!

We hope that everyone who attended the event enjoyed it as much as we did. See you next year!
