Connect to Community is honored to have received $2,250 in Community Funding from Palatine Township and its Human Needs Committee to help fund our Educational Outreach initiative.
Educational Outreach programming provides valuable information and resources to families of young adults with developmental disabilities on topics such as employment, housing options, government benefits, community day services, special needs financial planning, and much more.
Educational Outreach events include monthly virtual Friday Forum seminars, monthly Informational Tours which will resume in September, and an annual Transition Summit which will next be held on Saturday, April 15th. 2023. Seminars are also recorded so that the information can be made available to those who aren’t able to attend.
